About the LivingWaters Fluoride Water Filter
The LivingWaters™ 5-Stage Under Counter Water Filter with Fluoride Removal Option uses the following water filtration technology:
- KDF ® 55 to remove heavy metals like lead, remove chlorine and kill bacteria
- Doulton Sterasyl ® Ceramic to remove sediment and cysts
- Carbon Block Resin (CBR) to remove bad taste, odor, and chemical contaminants
- UltraFiltration to remove the smallest contaminants, yet leave the healthy minerals in your water
- A special filter cartridge for removal of fluoride
Specific Fluoride Filtration
The fluoride filter cartridge uses a fine mesh activated alumina media specifically designed for high-capacity fluoride reduction.
Reduce fluoride from as high as 10 ppm to below 0.2 ppm.
Over 95% removal of fluoride for the average municipal drinking water (2 ppm fluoride).
The fluoride reduction cartridge lasts 2500 gallons, for the average municipal water (2 ppm fluoride). Higher concentrations of fluoride will require more frequent filter changes.
