Yes, Softer Skin and Silky Hair, are Guaranteed...
Hard water forms soap scum and mineral deposits on your shower stall, on your skin and on your hair.
It's bad enough to have a dirty shower, but when hard water deposits make your skin dry and your hair brittle, somethings's gotta change.
KDF shower filters soften your hard water by transforming calcite into aragonite, which does not form scale or soap scum.
Hard water often contains iron or other oxidizing metals that stain showers and discolor your hair. KDF also reduces these hard water nusances.

What is KDF and how does it Work?
KDF is a patented, high purity alloy of copper and zinc. It eliminates contaminants from water using electrochemical oxidation-reduction, also known as redox potential.
The zinc has a negative charge, while the copper has a positive charge. The space between the copper and zinc becomes a tiny electrolytic cell, with the water and its contents acting as the electrolyte.
When contaminants pass through, metals (like iron) attach to the surface of the granules and are removed from the water.
Chlorine combines with alkaline minerals in the water and becomes a harmless, water-soluble chloried.
KDF also modifies the crystal structure of calcium carbonate, to reduce scale formation and give your shower water a softer feel.
Does KDF Give Water that Soft & Slimy Feel?
No, the softening effect of KDF is more subtle than a salt based water softener.
Salt-based water softeners remove most of the alkaline minerals from your water, making the water more aggressive or reactive with everything it contacts.
KDF simply changes the structure of common hardness minerals to give your water a slightly softer feel...without the slimy feeling.
