KDF-55 and Chlorgon combine for a high performance shower filter with an extremely long cartridge life.
Carbon based shower filter disadvantages:
- Carbon based cartridges must be flushed into a bucket before first usage to avoid staining some shower stalls
- Carbon is less effective in hot water
- Cannot reverse the cartridge for back-flushing to extend cartridge life
- Carbon filter cartridges do not last as long as KDF-55 ®
