Aquasana EQ-300-85R Main Replacement Unit
The Aquasana EQ-300-85R main filter unit includes three stages of filtration:
- KDF-85 filtration media to filter iron, sulfur and hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) and transform chlorine to harmless zinc chloride
- Large granule bituminous activated carbon to remove synthetic chemicals
- Small granule coconut shell based activated carbon to remove organic impurities
Other Features
- 300,000 gallons or 3 year service life so you won't have to replace it very often
- Leaves healthy minerals like calcium and magnesium in the water for great tasting water that's also good for you
Required Pre-Filtration
An Aquasana whole house pre-filter cartridge is required as a first step of filtration to remove sediment.
This pre-filter greatly extends the service life of the EQ-300-85R main filter unit.
Be sure to replace your pre-filter every 1 to 3 months, depending on input water quality.
