Why Use a Chlorine Shower Water Filter?
Most people don't realize that chlorine exposure and absorption in the shower far exceeds the rate of chlorine absorption when drinking the same water.
In a warm shower, chlorine is more easily absorbed by your body because:
- The warm water opens your skin's pores to allow chlorine to enter more easily
- Much of the chlorine is released as chlorine gas in the shower steam, which is readily absorbed by your lungs
When you eliminate chlorine from your shower, you will notice softer skin and hair in less than a week.
If you find that hard to believe, just remember that swimmers wear swim caps to protect their hair from the drying effects of chlorine in the pools.
