The PureSpray also works with the ARC cartridge, which is flat on both sides. The ARC fits in either direction, so you can reverse it to backflush the filter. Hope this helps. Does that mean we keep it in for a month facing the opposite direction, or do we just run about 10 minutes worth of water through it to flush it and then face the filter back in it's original direction?
