Who is Mr. Water Filter?

Hi, my name is Richard Mouser. This page tells the story about how Mr. Water Filter came into the world.

Water filters have been part of my life for many years. In the first house my wife and I bought, we installed an under the sink drinking water filter.

I've read about the importance of drinking plenty of pure water for years, and preferred water to soft drinks and other unhealthy or dehydrating drinks. I do enjoy a cup or two of coffee every day, but always have some water afterwards to eliminate that dried out feeling one gets after coffee.

As an aside, if you drink a lot of soft drinks, try eliminating them for one week, and drinking pure water instead. If you're like me, you will be amazed at how much better you feel.

Back to the story. After several disappointing experiences with low quality, mass market water filter systems, I started looking for something better.
